Milton Ramón Eliseo Peláez Matos was a Dominican rock musician, composer, and comedian born on April 15, 1945. He studied medicine and psychiatry while receiving violin training. In 1959, he founded Los Happy Boys, the first rock band in the Dominican Republic, serving as drummer and bandleader. He composed and sang the first Dominican rock songs in Spanish. Peláez was also successful in the comedy television show '4x4' alongside notable Dominican comedians. He died on July 4, 2006, due to a shooting incident related to a debt dispute.
