He served as an editor for literary magazines such as Književna reč and Relations, and was the chief editor of Književne novine. A prominent literary figure, he also initiated and edited the publications Izvor and Poezija. Furthermore, he was one of the founders of the Serbian Literary Society and its first president of the Management Board.
