Known as 'La Rossa' due to her red hair, she gained fame for her performance of the revolutionary song 'Bella Ciao' in 1965. In the 1970s, she was recognized as one of the 'five pillars' of Italian music, alongside prominent artists such as Mina and Patty Pravo. Milva was nicknamed 'the Leopard of Gorog,' an epithet coined by a journalist to describe her among other famous Italian singers of that era. She passed away on April 23, 2021.
