Miquel Morera i Darbra is a Spanish Civil War veteran born in Barcelona on April 26, 1920. At the age of sixteen, he volunteered for the Macià-Companys Column at the Aragon front, joining as an assistant to his father, a gunsmith. He fought in the Battle of Teruel, where he met Francesc Boix, and in the Battle of Valsequillo with the 22nd Division. In 2023, he was honored by the Government of Catalonia with the Creu de Sant Jordi for his contributions.
