Mirela Roznoveanu (born 10 April 1947) is a prominent Romanian literary critic, writer, and journalist, known for her resistance against the communist regime in Romania during the late 1980s. She has published novels, essays, literary criticism, and poetry. Roznoveanu worked as a senior columnist for various publications and contributed to the independence of the Romanian press post-1989. After moving to the U.S., she became a tenured librarian and continued her writing, receiving numerous awards for her contributions to literature and culture.
