Kazimir ('Miro') Zalar is a retired Swedish pole vaulter born on March 24, 1957, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He moved to Sweden at a young age and later achieved a personal best jump of 5.70 metres in 1986 in Nyköping, which was the Swedish record at that time. As of 2007, he ranked seventh on the Swedish all-time list of pole vaulters, with some notable athletes surpassing him since then. His contributions to the sport are recognized in Swedish athletics history.
