Miroslav Havel (May 26, 1922 – September 5, 2008) was a Czech glassmaker and chief designer for Waterford Crystal. Born in Držkov, he trained as a glassmaker in Železný Brod and faced interruptions in his studies due to the war. After the war, he relocated to Waterford, Ireland, where he helped revive the glass factory, established technical processes, and created instructional programs. His work included bespoke crystal chandeliers for prominent institutions and a glass replica of the Statue of Liberty presented to President Reagan.
