He studied at military academies in Brno and Hamburg and served as commander of the joint logistics support group in NATO's KFOR operation in Kosovo. Notably, he was one of two Slovak generals deployed to NATO operations. He held various leadership roles, including First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Slovak Armed Forces and later served as Defense Attaché in the Czech Republic before retiring in January 2024.
