Miroslav Toholj (1957–2021) was a Serbian writer and a Bosnian politician born in Ljubinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated from the Philosophical Faculty in Sarajevo and served as secretary of the Writers' Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1984 to 1988. He founded and edited the weekly Javnost from 1990 to 1995, was a prominent political figure during the Bosnian War, and served as a minister in the Republic of Srpska. He lived in Belgrade after 1998 and was elected as a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska in 2015.
