Miroslav Trnka is a Slovak entrepreneur and co-founder of the antivirus software company ESET. Born in Trnava on March 29, 1961, he graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He, along with Petr Pašek, developed the award-winning NOD32 antivirus product. After founding ESET, he served as its technical director and later as its first CEO. In July 2014, he co-founded the anti-corruption foundation 'Zastavme korupciu'. He received the Order of Ľudovít Štúr II. class for his contributions to IT in 2013.
