Mirosław Ostromęcki was a Polish soldier and social activist, known for his involvement with the National Armed Forces and the Home Army. He held the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Polish Army and served as the head of the Information Bureau in the National Armed Forces Headquarters. Ostromęcki was also the editor-in-chief of the journal 'Szańca'. He was born on December 17, 1914, in Warsaw and passed away on March 30, 2000, in the same city.
