Mirosława Ceynowa-Giełdon is a Polish biologist born on June 28, 1937, in Dąbrówka k. Świecia. She specializes in botany, lichenology, conservation, and plant taxonomy. Mirosława completed her high school education in 1954 and graduated from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 1959. She later worked at the university, earning her doctorate in 1967, and her habilitation in 1976. She was appointed an associate professor in 1990 and became a professor of biological sciences in 1996. Additionally, she led the Department of Taxonomy and Geography of Plants at her university from 1991 to 1992.
