Mirzəli İsmayıl oğlu Murquzov, born on April 1, 1937, is a distinguished physicist and mathematics doctoral professor. He is recognized as an Honored Teacher and holds the 'Şöhrət' order. He has served as the dean of the Faculty of Physics at ADPU, as well as the deputy chairman of the Republican Education Council. Murquzov has chaired the Physics section of the Scientific-Methodical Council of the Ministry of Education and has presided over the jury of the Republic Olympiad in Physics. He made significant contributions to understanding the localization effect in complex semiconductors.
