Rosina conducted research in theoretical nuclear physics and particle theory, focusing on light nuclei and quark systems. He served as president of the Association of Mathematicians, Physicists, and Astronomers of Slovenia from 1987 to 1990 and became an emeritus professor in 2001 after retirement. Additionally, he is passionate about genealogy and organizing academic events.
