Mitsumasa Taishin, born Shuji Murai on April 25, 1967, in Higashi-Osaka, was a former Japanese professional sumo wrestler. He competed at a height of 181 cm and weight of 153 kg. His fighting style was characterized by techniques such as right yotsu (grip), yori (force out), and oshi (push). He reached his highest rank of East Jūryō No. 9 in November 1991. Outside of sumo, he enjoys ramen and shopping.
