Miyako Furiya (February 19, 1943 – December 16, 2018) was a Japanese pianist, music educator, and university lecturer at Teikyo Heisei University. She was a prominent advocate and introducer of the Kodály method in Japan. Furiya founded and conducted the Fukushima Kodály Choir, significantly contributing to music education and choral music in the country, greatly impacting generations of students and musicians through her teaching and leadership.
