Miyazaki Nobuo is a Japanese educational scholar and former bureaucrat, born on December 27, 1931, in Kazo, Saitama Prefecture. He specializes in special education. He graduated from Saitama University in 1953 and joined the Ministry of Education. By 1972, he worked as an educational investigator in the Special Education Division. In 1981, he became the head of the Department of Mental Retardation Education at the National Special Needs Education Research Institute, and he is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the National Institute.
