Mohammad Bagheri is an Iranian military leader known for his significant role in the Iran-Iraq War. He has managed a crucial manufacturing institution of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces. On June 28, 2016, he was appointed by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, succeeding General Hassan Firouzabadi. He is the brother of Hossein Bagheri, former Deputy Commander of the IRGC Ground Force, and is part of a key leadership network within the IRGC.
