Mohammad Hossein Karimi (born 1949 in Saqqez – died February 14, 1979, in Saqqez) was a Kurdish political activist and one of the founders of Komala. He lost his life during protests against the local authorities in Saqqez. His death highlighted the activities of Komala, which had been operating secretly until then, leading to the designation of February 14 as Komala Day among the parties active under its name in eastern Kurdistan.
