Mohammad Nur Ahmad Etemadi was an Afghan diplomat and politician, born on February 22, 1921, in Kandahar and executed after the Saur Revolution on August 10, 1979. He served as a member of the Constitutional Assembly from 1964 to 1965, and was Afghanistan's ambassador to Pakistan and later to Moscow. He held the position of Foreign Minister in 1965 and was Prime Minister from November 1, 1967, until 1971. His dismissal came amid economic dissatisfaction and political unrest, contributing to the end of the monarchy in Afghanistan.
