Mohammad Reza Aslani is an Iranian filmmaker, graphic designer, art theorist, and poet, born on December 9, 1943, in Rasht, Iran. He is primarily known for his experimental films and documentaries. Aslani co-wrote the Espacementalism manifesto, although he did not sign it. He is also recognized as a prominent figure in the New Wave Poetry movement in Iran, alongside notable poets such as Yadollah Royaee, Fereydoun Rahnema, and Ahmadreza Ahmadi.
