Mohammad Zaki Kefi was a renowned Urdu poet and the founder of the Islamic Institution in Lahore. He was the son of Mufti Mohammad Shafi Usmani and the elder brother of Mufti Mohammad Taqi Usmani. His poetry collection, titled 'Kaifiat', was published after his death. His poetry continues the tradition of Urdu Ghazal, positioning him alongside other notable poets like Jigar and Hasrat.
