Mohammed Abbas Sabeih, born on February 28, 1978, is a former Iraqi swimmer specialized in freestyle events. He is recognized as one of Iraq's promising athletes who competed in the Olympics during Saddam Hussein's regime. Abbas trained at the Dolphin Swim Club in Canada under coach Wasfi Louti. He qualified for the men's 100m freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, achieving a time of 58.24. He set an Iraqi record of 56.81 but did not advance to the semifinals, finishing 63rd out of 71 in the heats.
