Mohammed Abdul Matin, born on March 3, 1960, is a Bangladeshi Islamic politician, writer, and researcher, known as M. A. Matin or Allama M. A. Matin. He currently serves as the chairman of the Bangladesh Islamic Front. Matin has been active in the Sunni movement since the 1980s, having previously held the position of president of the Bangladesh Islamic Students' Organization. He played a pivotal role in the formation of the Bangladesh Islamic Front as its convenor on December 21, 1990, and was later elected secretary general and then chairman of the party in 2022.
