Mohammed Gassid, born on December 10, 1986, in Baghdad, Iraq, is an Iraqi football player. He began his career in 2005 with Al-Shorta SC and later played for Al-Zawra'a before moving to the Cypriot club, AEP Paphos, in the 2009-2010 season. Gassid debuted for the Iraqi national team in 2007, contributing to their victory in the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. He participated in the FIFA Confederations Cup, where he conceded only one goal against Spain and was awarded the title of second best goalkeeper.
