Mokuren Izumi is a Japanese novelist born in 1977 from Mie Prefecture. She graduated from Kinki University, where she studied literature. Originally debuting under the pseudonym Izumi Mokuren, she later changed her name to Mokuren Izumi. Apart from her literary career, she was previously known as an SM mistress. In 2009, she appeared in the TV show 'Kizuna Shokudo' alongside her then-husband, comedian Koume Dyou. Izumi is known for her unique personal history and contributions to Japanese literature.
