Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari (April 26, 1942 - September 30, 2014) was a Kashmiri Shia cleric, politician, businessman, and organizer of Ashura processions in Kashmir. He took over the presidency of the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association in 1962 from his father, Muhammad Jawad Ansari, a position he held for life. Ansari was elected to the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly representing the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party and had previously been a member of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and the Indian National Congress.
