Mona Badr, born Mary Najar on November 15, 1936, was an Egyptian actress who gained recognition in the 1950s. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in 1955 and initially worked at a bank in Cairo before dedicating her life to acting. Her film credits include 'Fata Ahlaami,' 'Kulluna Fida'iyoun,' and 'Sawaqat al-Taxi.' She was crowned Miss Egypt in 1956 and was discovered by football player Hnifi Bastan. Badr later emigrated to the United States and passed away on March 18, 2021.
