Mona Grønstad is a Norwegian painter, drawer, and graphic artist born on March 13, 1958, in Åmot kommune. She studied at the State School of Art and Design in Oslo from 1981 to 1985. Since 1999, she has focused on large watercolor paintings, playing with light and shadows in a dynamic and abstract realism style. She has had solo exhibitions, including one at Elverum Art Gallery in 2007, and is a member of several artist associations. In 2009, she received the Arne Isacsson Prize from the Nordic Watercolor Society.
