Mona Nørgaard is a Danish orienteer born on February 23, 1948. She became the first Dane to win a gold medal at the World Orienteering Championships in 1974 in the classic distance event. This championship was hosted in Denmark for the first time that year, taking place in Silkeborg forests. Nørgaard has also won the Nordic Championships and secured 13 individual Denmark National Championships, along with numerous other Danish medals. She has competed for OK Pan Aarhus and previously for Vordingborg's O-63 club.
