Monica Casiraghi is an accomplished Italian ultrarunner from Missaglia known for her significant achievements in long-distance running. She won the IAU 100 km World Championships in 2003, having previously secured third place in 2001 and 2002. In addition, she holds the Italian world record for the 24-hour race with a distance of 231 km, achieved during the 2010 World Championships in Brive, France. Casiraghi has also been a European Champion for the 100 km races in 2006 and 2007 and has earned multiple medals in European and World Championships.
