Monie Ralph Captan (born May 28, 1962) is a Lebanese-Liberian politician and businessman who served as Liberia's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1996 to 2003. He was involved in governmental affairs during Charles Taylor's presidency and ran an independent media outlet. Captan supported Taylor's National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL) during the civil war, and later became the head of the Chamber of Commerce in Liberia with over 70% of votes in 2010. He represents a small number of Lebanese active in Liberian politics.
