Montserrat Ferrer i Bech is a Catalan entrepreneur and owner of the Can Baldiri bakery in Palafrugell, where she began working at the age of 15. Married to Josep Sagué Xargay in 1976, they have two children, Martí and Regina. After taking over the family business from her retired parents in 1988, she and her brother modernized the bakery and its recipes. They specialize in artisanal bread, pastries, and roasted nuts, with their croissants being a local highlight. In 2014, they received a civic merit diploma for over 150 years of the bakery's history.
