Moraima Secada, known as La Mora, was a Cuban singer born on September 30, 1930, in Santa Clara. She specialized in romantic music and developed a unique style of interpretation in the Cuban music movement known as feeling. Her artistic career started in the 1950s, and she was a member of America's first female orchestra, Les Anacaonas. Notable songs include 'Aliviu', 'Perdóname conciencia', and 'Depende de ti'. She passed away on December 30, 1984, in Havana, as a result of liver disease. She was the aunt of Latin singer Jon Secada.
