Morrill Cody (1901-1987) was an American diplomat, literary editor, and author who served over twenty years with the U.S. Foreign Service. He held the position of deputy director at the United States Information Agency from 1961 to 1963 and managed the Paris bureau of Radio Free Europe from 1965 to 1976. Cody edited 'This Must be the Place: Memoirs of Montparnasse' by James Charters, a popular memoir that featured stories from the vibrant expatriate community in 1920s Paris. He graduated from Amherst College in 1921.
