Morten Nyhus, born on March 15, 1957, in Tønsberg, is a Norwegian playwright and visual artist. He grew up in Eik near Tønsberg and resided in Denmark from 1981 to 2006. Nyhus is educated as a kindergarten teacher and studied painting at the Jyske Kunstakademi. He has created various stage and radio plays, including works for prominent theaters and radio stations. Notably, his play 'Hvorfor kommer du ikke inn til oss andre' premiered at the Norwegian Drama Festival in 2008. He is married to Danish sculptor Lena Søeborg and is the brother of illustrators Svein and Egil Nyhus.
