Morten Nyhus, born in 1956 in Hamar, Norway, is a multifaceted musician known for his roles as a drummer, pianist, songwriter, and record producer. He gained prominence as a producer for Norwegian dance bands, especially Ole Ivars since 1992. Nyhus has played drums for the dance band Katho and was a musician and producer for Arctic Band. After serving as a substitute drummer for Ole Ivars, he became the band’s permanent drummer following the death of Arild Engh. He works daily at Gjøvik Lydstudio.
