Morten Pihl Versner, known as Rico, was a Danish violinist and bassist active in the punk and post-punk genres from 1979 to 1983. He played violin for the punk band Sods, later known as Sort Sol, contributing to classic LPs such as 'Under En Sort Sol' and 'Dagger & Guitar'. Versner was also a member of Martin Hall's Ballet Mécanique, where his unique violin style was central to influential albums like 'The Icecold Waters Of The Egocentric Calculation' and 'For'. He participated in local elections for the Kærlighedspartiet and humorously ran as 'A Dead Horse' in the 2011 general elections.
