Mosalikanti Thirumala Rao (1901-1970) was an Indian freedom activist and politician born in Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh. He played a key role in the Indian Independence movement and was imprisoned multiple times for his activism. Thirumala Rao served in various legislative bodies, including the Central Legislative Assembly and the Constituent Assembly of India. He was also a Deputy Minister in the Government of India and held the position of Lieutenant Governor of Vindhya Pradesh. He contributed to literature by translating 'God Speaks' into Telugu.
