Mostafa Kavakebian is an Iranian reformist politician born on March 18, 1963. He served as the representative of Tehran in the Parliament of Iran from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, he represented the Semnan and Mehdishahr constituencies from 2008 to 2012. Kavakebian recently registered to run for president in the 2024 presidential election, but his candidacy was rejected by the Guardian Council.
