Mordechai 'Moti' Giladi is an Israeli singer and actor born on December 18, 1946. He released his first album in 1969 after completing his military service. In the 1970s, he spent time in the United States as a chazzan for a Jewish community. He returned in the 1980s and became known as a voice impersonator. He and Sarai Tzuriel won the Israeli preselection to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 1986, where they finished second to last with their song 'Yavoh yom'. Since the 1990s, he has mainly appeared as an actor in television and theater.
