Flying Officer MP Anil Kumar (1964-2014) was a MiG 21 pilot in the Indian Air Force who became a quadriplegic after a motorcycle accident in 1988. Following his disability, he transitioned into writing and history. Residing in the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre of Pune, he learned to write with a pen held in his mouth. His notable essay, "Airborne to Chairborne," gained recognition and was included in school textbooks in Maharashtra and Kerala. He passed away on 20 May 2014.
