Mridul Dasgupta (born April 3, 1955) is a Bengali poet and journalist. He was honored with the National Writers Award in 1975. Dasgupta received the West Bengal Bangla Akademi Award in 2000 for his work 'Surjoste Nirmita Griho' and was awarded the Rabindra Puraskar in 2012 for his poetry collection 'Sonar Budbud'. His contributions to literature and journalism have made a significant impact in Bengali literature.
