MSBR (Molten Salt Breeder Reactor) was a musical project by Japanese noise musician Tano Kōji, which debuted in 1992. Kōji released a substantial body of work, contributing to the Japanoise scene, and collaborated with various notable artists. His performances combined static elements with physical presence, using synthesizers while transforming sound live. The project ended with Kōji's death on July 31, 2005. Although he passed away, some posthumous releases have continued to emerge. MSBR is recognized for its innovative approach within the experimental music genre.
