Mudar Zahran, born on April 19, 1973, in Amman, is a Jordanian politician and writer of Palestinian origin. He serves as the Secretary General of the Jordanian Coalition for Opposition. After facing harassment and trials in Jordan due to his political views against the Jordanian regime, he was granted political asylum in the UK. He was tried in absentia by a military state security court and faced four charges, including incitement against the ruling system, changing the basic structures of society, inciting racial tensions, and defaming the king.
