Muhammad Ahmad ar-Rasyid, born on July 8, 1938, in Baghdad, is a prominent Islamic preacher and a notable leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Iraq. He studied under many scholars in Baghdad, including Sheikh Amjad Al-Zuhawi and Sheikh Alim Muhammad Al-Qazlaji. After the Gulf War, he emigrated to Europe. Ar-Rasyid is recognized as one of the main theorists and authors of the Islamic movement, having written numerous books that combine the spirit of the movement with Islamic science, spirituality, and a focus on Islamic ethics. His works have been translated into many foreign languages.
