Muhammad Asif Mohseni was a notable Shia scholar and authority in Afghanistan, born in 1935 and passing away in 2019. He supported the idea of bridging Islamic sects and served as the head of the Shia Scholars Council of Afghanistan. Mohseni founded the scientific academy and 'Khatim al-Nabiyin' University in Kabul. Additionally, he was an influential member of the Supreme Council of the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt and was a former leader of the Islamic movement in Afghanistan, as well as the founder of Al-Hadira TV channel.
