Muhammad Asli Chaidir is an Indonesian businessman and politician, born on April 10, 1952. He served as a member of the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR-RI) for two terms from 2014 to 2019 and from 2019 to 2024. Prior to his political career, he was active in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) in West Sumatra. He also held the position of Deputy Chairman of the West Sumatra Regional House of Representatives from 2009 to 2014, and was the Chairman of the West Sumatra Regional Representative Council of the National Mandate Party (PAN) from 2010 to 2015.
