Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari (July 1, 1918 – April 7, 1998) was an Islamic scholar specializing in Hanafi jurisprudence, a Sufi, and a Muslim leader. He is best known for his work 'Diya al-Quran' (Light of the Quran), a significant Quranic exegesis. He also authored 'Diya al-Nabi,' a detailed seven-volume biography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Al-Azhari was a member of the Sunni Barelvi movement and served as the spiritual guide and peer of the Jashiti Sufi order.
