Murah Soares is an Afro-Brazilian dancer and choreographer born on May 24, 1962, in São Paulo, Brazil. He is known for his work with the Afoxé Loni group and the Murah-Soares-Ensemble in Berlin. Additionally, he founded the intercultural Forum Brasil e.V. and serves as the Babalorixá of Ilê Obá Sileké, the first Candomblé temple in Germany, establishing a cultural and spiritual presence in Berlin.
